At newegg:
Abit NF7-S $118
Barton 2500+ $90
total $208
throw in 2 stick of HyperX and you have yourself a system that will hold its own against any P4 machine.

If you buy the 2500+ you are in effect getting a 3200+ cpu. ($450)
The new steppings of the 2500+ are able to easily get 200 x 11, with no increase in temps or vcore.
Even at default. That 1.83Ghz will murder your current P4 at any task.
With the 2500+, you should either get
the Abit NF7-S or EpoX 8rda3+ (both rev 2's)
TwinMos memory or Buffalo (both using winbond chips)

How much do you want to spend for a video card? The Radeon 9700 and up & the GeForce FX 5800 and up are excellent cards.. if you have the $$$ that is.
