Hi Tex, thanks for the suggestion but another chip doesn't do me any good. The thing is that I don't have that board, I'm trying to help someone else so I just needed my modified version to be tested.
As it turns out, apparently "On Chip SATA" on this board cannot be disable due to chipset limitations and that's why Abit hides the bios menu in the first place...
