Audigy sound card wont install on NF7-S

I just picked up an Audigy sound card and the card wont install using the driver cd. It pops up an error saying no sound balster audigy was detected. There is sound being output by the card but I doubt its working at full potential.

Is it probable that i'm getting conflicts with remanents of the old n-force audio drivers & if so what can I do short of a fresh install?

    have you disabled the nvidia sound?

    HI Coaster,

    Yeah disabled the sound in bios & uninstalled the nvidia sound drivers however I dont think I got them all cuase sometimes the the soundstorm icon appears in my taskbar.

    Try DriveCleaner by DriverHeaven.
    Also, NVidia has these instructions to remove previous drivers.
