Dude you dont need a dual, check to see if your dvd player and computer can read DVD- and I bet it can, just get that writer. The DVD+ media is much more expensive and is the same damn thing as-.
yeah, some people swear by lite-on, but i will say that as far as lite-on cd burners go i have had problems with them. mostly those problems are from cd-r media. i have had several friends that bought a 50 spindle of blank cd-r's, and then i get a call from them asking why they dont werk in there lite-on cd burner. now, i dont know how this carries over into dvd burners, but maybe one of the die-hard lite-on guys can . . . enlite-on us . . . man, i am dumb . . .
I have the pioneer 106 and it's great so i can only reccomend that one. It's a great little burner and as of now i am yet to burn a coaster. It's definetely worth the price considering i originally paid more than double for the pioneer 102 a year ago
than this one costs now with all of the extras features it has.
