;) you can clear them all by going (from IE):

Tools > Internet Options > ClearHistory (bottom of default tab)

Think it's Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete > Clear Forms

Also the history, cookies, and temp internet folders should be cleared.

I have done all those things, but if i click on the address bar in IE and clear it, then start to type in addresses, some of them still show up. At one time I read the some of these addresses are stored in the Registry, I just don't remember where!

    Any other suggestions?

Aranyic's tip should do the trick. It's always worked for me.

Also, go to Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete and uncheck "Use AutoComplete for web addresses".

Try deleting the contents of your favourites.

do all the things mentioned above and it should fix the problem. Autocomplete is the main problem for what you are facing. There is a registry hack but I'm guessing you are in a work environment or some place where you don't have permission to do that so it won't help you.

Run regedit: Search for "typedurls" and highlight all at once, then delete them.

Use a different browser... One that allows you to clear your location bar.

What most of you have suggested worked on my PC at work, and at home, but for my friends PC, nothing will get rid of this one $^@#*!% typed URL. FYI here it is (very nice) Babe of the Day ;)

I'll try muckin with the registry next! THANKS ANYWAY!!!!!!:)
