bios help

every time i boot my computer it wont do anything, so i reset the CMOS and it will work. why does it do this??? u can email me @ bballmaniac438@aol.com

    Once I had a similar problem, the matter was related with CPU fan connection. When resetting the BIOS, The default setting (CPU shutdown if fan failure = Disabled), allowed the computer start. After finding the problem and doing the proper connection the matter was solved.

    By the way, you should send more information on your system, to have a better idea on your problem.

    first off, i would remove your email address from your post unless you want tons of spam. now, can you be a little more specific? it sounds like you're saying that you have to reset your BIOS after you power up your computer? the cheapest thing to try is to buy a new battery for your motherboard.
