i heard that both of the 100 dollar rebates for this specific deal require the original UPC, and it is not uncommon for rebates to be rejected anyway, so, everyone be careful with this one . . .

Well, one requires a capacity label (or UPC) and the other a UPC... but Dell's pulled the entire deal, so this is dead...

Because this error was discovered after a small number of drives had shipped, we will be granting $200 in rebates on those drives.

At least they came through for some lucky ones...

Dell has decided to honor all orders for the 200GB drive placed from 9/25-9/27. That means the $200 rebate is valid, and you will get the drive for a total of $22 after rebate. Deal of The Year.
