I have TWC Road Runner in NYC. I didn't notice the slow down on those days, nor the increase since. :(

RR has rolled out an increase of their download speeds from 2000kbps to 3000kbps, system wide. I wish they would bump the uploads speeds to 512 though.

Haven't noticed anything good or bad with RR here in NC.:)
Provided whatever Server I am downloading from isn't limiting me, I usualy get around 2.5M to 3M download.

jeez, why can't bellsouth DSL speed up their downloads? I've been asking the cable company for 7 years for cable internet access, and they always say, in the next three months!!!! In that time the company's gone through like 4 or 5 name changes, let's see, it started out as TCI, which was bought by i can't remember who, then it was AT&T, now it's Comcast. Margate Florida wants cable internet access!!!!!!

Hey Kanez, be glad you don't have Advanced Cable in Coral Springs. Bellsouth is actually an upgrade to it!! I know, I did it! Be very careful what you wish for!!

    S!
