Make a program alway run.

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
I installed a web server app on one of our servers here. Whenever I logoff the server stops running and than pops back up when I log on. I'm an administrator how to make a program run on the windows 2000 server all of the time?

    How is it being started?

If it's a service then it'll run whether you're logged on or not.

If it doesn't have the option to run as a service, you could use Fire Daemon.

Alright I guess I was kind of hoping there was someone to tell windows to run a program as a service. I'll look for something else if that can't be done. So fire daemon is a good free web server?

Fire Daemon is a program that makes other programs run as a service. The free version only lets you run 1 program.
