Molex to 12 position terminal strip

edited October 2003 in Hardware
Got a custom wiring question here. My case is all acrylic, so it's really hard to hide all the wires. After reading a review over at voidedwarranty.com and seeing how the reviewer got around the wire clutter problem, I've decided to try his technique.

What he did was take a 12 position terminal strip and spliced a molex connector into it (used six wires spliced into the wires on the molex, here's a diagram). He was then able to hook each fan up to the terminal strip, thereby freeing up the remaining molex connectors on the PSU for other things.

My question is: Which wires on the molex connector would I splice into the 12 position strip? Looking at them now, there are two blacks, a red, and a yellow.

My guess is that you would use the yellow (12v) and one of the blacks, but I want to be sure. Can someone confirm?

BTW, here's a link to the review: http://www.voidedwarranty.com/modules.php?name=Reviews&op=viewarticle&artid=72

Use the PSUs molex connection's Yellow wire and the adjacent Black wire
