Dynamat in PC

Has anyone ever tried this?

    Yes I've tried something similar in my case and seen dynamat in other cases... it works but not enough for me to ever buy if myself. Since the metal of the case provides some radiational cooling, it tends to raise the case temps a few C by acting as an insulator (if you do the synamat thing right you'll need to cover 2/3 of both case panels).

    I have it in my case and it's not worth it. As stoopid said, the most noticable thing it does is raid the temps a few degrees. Sound level is hardly noticable. I won't do it again.

    I've read reviews where they say it's worth it, but user-reviews say they aren't. Meh, I feared hearing that :( I guess I won't put any in my case... I don't want to get sticky tar-like stuff all over the place :/
