How to tell if its a 9800 or Pro?

edited October 2003 in Hardware
Hey, recently bought a computer from Dell and I had ordered it with a 9800 non-pro. When looking at all the system info etc. on the computer it always comes up as 9800 Pro. Does the non pro 9800 come up as a pro or did I luck out and get the pro for free?

Looks like you lucked out ;)

I think the way to check for pro and non pro is the mem chips. I think the pro has 3.3ns and the non pro has something different, can't remember. Someone with a 9800 should post it.

You could install a overclocking program and check the clock speed. Pro comes with a core speed of 380mhz and memory speed of 340mhz. I may be wrong but atleast for me, my 9700 from Dell came underclocked.
