Building a new rig and want to OC....

I used to use this forum a while back and have finally re-registered since the new site was built up. Got a lot of good info back then:-)
Building a new rig right now, my signature below should list everything in it. I want to OC this one to something that is stable while playing a game like Halo, and of course, stable for all my business app's (Office, Act 6.0, etc...).
I see that people are getting 3.2 pretty easy with the 2.6 GHz but I am not sure about all their settings. Should I be able to reach that pretty easy? This machine is going to be air-cooled, but I hear that the spark 7 cools things pretty good.
Some input on my settings for the 9800, ram, voltages, etc... would be very helpful. Seems like some people have a hard time getting their boards to OC while others seem to get it OC'd pretty high on air and run them pretty stable.
Thanks!

Okay, this isn't meant to sound like it's going to sound, but here goes...

You want me to overclock all your PC for you? I really can't. As you seem to already know, overclocks vary machine to machine, and because of this the little quirks, settings, and issue inherent there-in are usually where these forums come into play... but I'd have to write a complete overclocking guide here in order to predictively answer many of the impending questions...

I CAN help with any specific questions or issues you will have during the overclocking process, or specific questions about how/why we do certain things on a more theoretical level... but I can't tell you enough of everything you will need if you're going into this cold.

[Please understand this all comes from a good place, I'm just trying to steer this a little more toward what you're specifically asking because, as it stands now, it's too broad to handle in the context of this thread :) ]

    Gropper :)

Setup looks splendid to me and if you could get the Pc3700 or PC4000 of those HyperX, you will play ball. Infact, i'm actually trying to get that same board to try my first Intel rig. The cpu you chosen seems to be right but, please use another heatsink.

That's one of the best heatsinks ever made and for $19.95, it would be a mistake to let go. With that sink and a medium to strong fan on it, i would get a 2.8 or 3.0C processor instead.

    Edit//LMAO!!

    Thread resurrection anyone :D
/me grabs another Miller from teh fridge

The Max 3 is a definate overclocking board! As is the 2.6C a wonderful overclocking CPU.

Pair that w/ good cooling and memory and you're set, but it looks like you're going to do just that. So now... Jus be semi-careful :P and have fun!
