Anyone know if these cards are gonna make it into Centrino laptops anytime? I really want this video card in a computer that has a battery life of more than 1.5 or 2 hours. Is it a size thing or does nobody make a powerful enough psu for centrino systems? So far, I only found Apple made a laptop that would last around 4 hours with a 9600...:(

no one WANTS to make a more powerful psu for a centrino system, because that would eliminate the purpose OF a centrino system, LOW POWER. so, if you want a 9600, get a beast. maybe you can find an AMD laptop, that'd probably be an improvement over the p4 mobile

I recently got a Toshiba P15-S409, comes with a GF5100 (which I still have not tested in 3d). I saw they also released a GF5600 mobile, much more powerful. Both I think are directx9, and maybe an alternative for you... think HP and Toshiba carry these...
