Changing raid mobos w/out losing array

I want to remove my dieing KT7A-Raid version 1.0 motherboard with a KT7A-Raid version 1.3 motherboard. Will I lose all data on my raid array, how can I keep array?

    As long as you are moving it to another HPT controller you shuld be OK. If it is not detected the first time you will need to set it up again in the controller's bios but that should be all. If going to anything else you will need to back it up to a single drive. I would back it up anyway and always keep a backup of my RAID arrays. If you are moving an operating system to a different chipset on the mobo you will need to do a repair install but backing up your files and doing a fresh install is better.

    make sure the kt7a 1.3 has the same bios as the kt7a 1.0 did when u move the array over..then u can update the bios after u know the raid is all good. but yea everything should fly going from hpt370 > hpt370
