Dang, I forgot how to fix this.
I had a problem several years ago and now have it again reloading my machine. I can't remember how to fix it.
I have a KT7-RAID motherboard with 2 hard drives and 2 CDROMs (one is a CDRW) on the HPT 370 controller. When I reloaded my machine with XP. I added the 4in1 drivers (I normally don't). The problem is all my drives are showing up as SCSI. My CD burning software can't detect my burner now and the SMART software for detecting HD failuers won't detect the Hard Drive. I had this problem before and can't remember how to fix it. Do I need to remove the 4in1 Drivers? I'm pretty sure I fixed it before so they drives showed up as reguler IDE.
Any suggestions?

Make sure you are using a newer bios 64 and up if compatible with XP. Here is a good link Paul's Faqs

Thanks
I have been trying to reinstall XP but it fails each time - due to my video card I THINK. See Other Thread
Right now I have a Gainward G4 TI4200 GS that I THINK is giving me the trouble.
I USED to have a Voodoo5 5500 AGP and XP installed fine with it several times.
Anyone know a cheap card that WILL work on a KT7 RAID to install XP????????????
**Edit
Ooh, my bad. I have the KT7-100, not the RAID.
Check your BIOS. I was looking at the list of fixes in the latest version for the KT7 and it specifically mentions the TI4200.
