Quick easy question....about my P4 setup.

edited November 2003 in Hardware
Ok Im running a P4C 2.4ghz on an Abit IS7G. Now Iv been running this setup without problems at all.(Thats awlays a good thing)

Anyways I was cleaning up the wires on the inside of my case the other day(Iv got a windows in my case.....kinda got sick of it being ugly inside) and noticed a little plugin to the left of my cpu. My powersupply also has a end that fits there. My question is. What is that extra plugin for? Is there any benefits of pluging it in?? This plugin has 4 connectors on it. In a squair shape.

Just wondering. Like I have said I have been running this setup for a few months without problems. Just wondering if there is any benefits of pluging it in.

It's a 12v connector and you should use it. Why? I have no idea :D
