It *LOOKS* similar to this Ultra Memory from tirgerdirect.ca, warranty info is linked thru to Ultra here .

I've never seen any feedback on either Wintec or Ultra tho. I've been very curious about the Ultra as they are marketing it as high speed/low latency and it's cheap (for Canada, for high end). But, me scared until I find some user ratings of some sort.:buck:

It would be nice if they at least gave you some real specs.

    Thank you!

I thought I would use something different for a while.

I know where you are trying to go with this ram as most of these things are barely worth the low price but sometimes you just never know and find that diamond in the rough. I just looked and see that the Buffalo (Winbond module) PC3700, 512mb is $99 at Newegg. Those are the ones that do good. It would probably be the best back-up plan.

Yea, juding from the specs... it looks like some BH5 (220-230 fsb + 6-2-2-2). Who knows, i'd just wait til Buffalo's winbond modules are back in stock and order those of newegg.

Holy crap, they are in stock.. You better jump on them if you need some ram, never know when they will be non-stock again. I would spend the extra money for the winbond myself.

Ya, but usually Buffalo severly underrates their memory. Read their reviews Just as long as it's the Winbond modules you will be buying quality stuff.

    Wug: Corsair XMS
