Creative Sound Blaster drivers (5.12.5.441)

Works on the Live 5.1's, Audigy, Audigy 2, and the new Audigy 2ZS. Drivers are WHQL Certified.

Manually extract -> go to folder called "Drivers" -> execute "CTZAPXX.exe"

It appears that even though the above linked to driver package does work for the cards you specified, though I haven't confirmed the SB Live 5.1 support yet, there are at least two (I have so far not been able to locate a new package specifically for the SB Live) identical driver packages on the creative site, with just different setup programs, each designed to detect one particular model of card, hence why the standard setup file like you linked to above, only works for the Audigy 2, which is why you have to manually install the drivers, or do as you suggested.

Strange really, you would have thought it would be just simplier to have one setup file which detects and installs for all. Still...
