Just wrote an article to help convince those IE users to switch to something decent. :D

It explains why it is important and quickly goes through both Mozilla and Opera with a screen shot of both.

Yeah...they are both great at rendering pages incorrectly. And also they don't seem to work properly for me when trying to click on packet numbers on ircspy and opera can't seem to open a torrent by simply clicking on it.

The one positive thing that i can say about both of them is that my g/f has no idea what opera or mozilla are...meaning that she never opens them and i never have to clear their respective histories ;)

Really, I never had rendering problems with Mozilla. I did have a few with Opera though. I had to hit refresh several times for the page to get together, some tables would seperate and stuff.

Mozilla history also deletes faster then IE, you don't sit there waiting after this "not responding" white dialog box, it just does it in a boom. Perfect for those porn surfers that almost get caught and have to react fast. Not that I'm one. :)

Great article there Red Squirrel. Being easily swayed (and always willing to try new things) I have mozilla on the DL right now. I have used it on my laptops Redhat partition but never in windows so I havent had much exposure to it. But yea, what the hell, lets giver' a go. :p

Thanks for the comments. Glad you liked it. ;)

I used to be a bit weary at first to try something new, but now I bash IE left and right. :D

I've not had any rendering problems since Opera 6

Using 7.22 now, not updated for a while. I know at least 7.23 has been released.

I used Mozilla about 2 years ago and liked it but it crashed a lot. Had to use nightly builds a lot of the time to get decent stability. Opera was the same but the continue from last time feature made it less of an issue.

Dont have many problems at all now with the browser with pages or crashes.

IE is unusable on todays internet. Too many dishonest people out there wanting to make money out of fucking your computer up.
