network chat

is there away i can set up a way for an inner network chat program? so that way ppl on the network can im me at any given time.

    Windows xp maybe 2000 has one call winchat go to command promt type in winchat

    or you can use windows net chat also go to command or run cmd type in net view see the computer on the network you want to send a message to then type net send "what ever the computer name" then the message

    something like this

    net send paul You suck!

    IPSWITCH has a decent IM cleint. Exchange 2K or better has one included.
