will an 8x radeon 9800 non-pro work with a 4x abit at7 max
ok, so i got a quick question. i heard that you can have some problems with the ratings of agp slots and cards. i cant rememeber which. so, what i really want to know is if my abit at7 (at 4x) will work with my new 8x radeon 9800. i had just heard that there was one combination that would fry your mobo and vid card due to voltage. and clarification is welcome

i believe it's if you put a 4x in a 2x u can fry it.
