Dunno if this is suppossed to be here or not but I was wondering will things switching over to 64bit help with the internet any? Like would it better for games and pings? Could more data be sent over the same connection?

Just curious to know.

well i've been seeing some results that show that using a 64-bit linux can increase maximum throughput, adding more and more cpu's helps. HOWEVER, im sure this is only for comp to comp, and regular internet use would be affected little to none.

processor performance has nothing to do with network bandwidth.......

Would't pings be better if the servers could respond faster?
