VHS to DVD

Is there a way I can use my computer to copy VHS tapes to DVD? I have a DVD recorder but not quite sure what I need installed in my computer to hook my VCR to. If it is possible at all please reply.

    Simplest solution, get a Dazzle 150 and capture from VHS directly to Dazzle from your player.

    You need some sort of video inputs on your computer. Either as part of a video card or as an add-on card. You also need gigs of hdd space to hold the data and a lot of time.

    duuhhh...A Dazzle would do this... see my previous post. FYI it connects to USB2. Can connect VHS player, DVD player, camera, etc., etc. Rip, grab...what ever...
    Yes does need ample HD space...doesn't everyone have that these days at the cheap price of HD's?
    With a KT7a board, this person would need a USB2 card ($20) to use a Dazzle 150. Also the Dazzle would give them portability when they upgrade (might want to do that if doing much video).

    cant you just put it in through your Video in thing on a GFX card? get a breakout box or somethin to capture it
