.BAT Files

Hi i need some help please is there a .BAT command that will make a pc restart or is there one that will make it shutdown and can i make one that will format the hardrive by just double clicking on it so the user does not have to type Y it just does it automaticaly and in each of thoses cases can it me done so the user see non of this happaning

    Sounds like you are up to mischief I shall not help. However the answer to all you questions are yes. Though some are through calling other programs outside of the bat file.

    no i just need to no cos for our school project we need to create a peace of soft ware that can do this i also need to no how to create a auto start BAT file as well please help email me if u donot want to say it over here to email me you can get me at markblue777@yahoo.com

    yeah right. You're school want you to make a file that will format a HDD with no warnings simply by double clicking on it?

    then just ignore the promps they are just mumbo jumbo anyway.

    Dear lord man I'm not going to help you out I'm just bored.

    Seriously there is no school project that's going to have you write a program to trash a computer with a click of a button. Were it a school project it'd have specs that qualify for about 10 'are you sure' prompts....get real you aren't going to find the answer you are looking for here.

    As for your question, nobody is going to tell you. It is painfully obvious you are trying to screw somebody over. Why else would you want to make a batch file that loads on startup and formats with out a prompt? Even if you were not doing this to mess with somebody, the very idea of a bat file that does that is rediculous. It is dangerous, and there is a reason why 'format C:' bitches in all caps, it is for dumbasses like you who would double click on a bat file for formating and wonder why their computer doesn't start anymore. Still, you are looking to mess with somebody, why else would you lie (besides, what class would ask you to make a bat file?)

    Now please, nobody is going to answer you here. Just leave, and take your moronic and dangerous question with you. Have a nice life.

    Well I must say this thread brightened up my morning. :D

    u ain't gonna git a bat file to do what you want any who. Generally all it can do is set variables and call other programs. It cannot manipulate the these other programs while they are running. So give it up, quit skipping English Classes, get an education and then you can learn how to write a real virus.
