Halo server

I want to setup a Halo server, how is this done? (I will run it on my computer - not dedicated unless I can put it on a 486).

I downloaded a program from I think bungie, but it does not work. It does not list it in the game spy directory even though the setting for that is set. So is there more then one that I can download since the bungie one does not work.

Thanks

you probably have to forward the port from your firewall to your server.

I thought of that but I never even had a notice from my firewall that it was listening, just that it was connecting. I think the way it works is that in technical terms it's still a client and connects to game spy's server. I'm behind a router and I can still host games no problem without port fowarding.

I think I had a bad download, I don't remember it being 100+ MB! I'm redownloading it right now, I think what I had must of been a patch only or something. :D
