Today I got home from a lan party from last night and I set everything back up. Well when window starts the connection is stuck in a loop. Local area network detected and then pops up with Network unpluged. It keeps going on and off in a loop. Well after narrowing it down using other comps I found out Its the 3rd port on the router. I have tryied resetting it and reconfiguring it, Still does it. Does anyone know how i can fix this or what is going on?

Prolly got knocked around. If the other ports are ok, then the only thing to do is take it back/send it back for a replacement.

Once a port is shot there's noway of fixing it.

Yeah, usually the routers/hub are pretty delicate. I killed one just moving it from one spot to another. I also killed a netgear hub when it fell right on my sneaker! one minute it was working , then I was moving my speaker and i bumped into the hub, it slid off my desk and i did'nt have time to catch it so i stuck my foot out. I thought the cushing of the sneaker would save it, not a chance. Just kapoots  .

Linksys is pretty good with RMA's.
