I was wondering if the ABit NF7-S mobo's FPIO2 headers would be compatible with the connectors from any PC case that has Front Panel connectors. In the manual it states that these headers are designed for use with ABit Media XP product. Am also lookin for Aluminium case, all recommedations appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I looked at the PIN configuration for that header here (page 3-14). You'll need to manually lineup/match the case's PINs with the manual's definitions.

Well this set of headers are more to do with the audio connectors. I seen most ATX cases come with header pins to connect to motherboard, while some others have standard 3.5cm jack pass thru (which is much easier).

I just purchased the Abit AN-7 Socket A motherboard.
With the 400mhz(FSB) There's plenty of room for
upgrades. Right now im using the Barton 2500+
processor. I noticed that it's a fairly new board not
having very many reviews on the net. I decided to
stay with Abit instead of Asus over the bios features.
Other than that both boards are almost the same.
Anyway i just wanted some advice on what Brand
of Dual 400mhz Memory to install.

And let me know what you think about the Abit AN-7.
    I paid $116.00 @ Directron.com

Bump on this thread, cuz Im very interested in either the Abit AN-7 or the NF7-S for my next upgrade.

ktdragon, What do you think about the AN-7 since you've had it a little while?

The AN7 failed to impress most users and the newer NF7's v2.0 do not OC as well as they used to.
There are rumors of a new NF2 based board coming out soon so I'd wait a little longer.
