Diamond MX400 & Win2K Pro

Anyone know or have a WORKING driver for Diamond Monster Sound MX400 sound card to work to its FULL potential in Win2K? I do have sound but want the full options that originaly came with the drivers under Win98. Driverguide.com had nothing. I do have a DVD player drive installed and was hoping to use the "soft dvd" thing.......enough rantin...........Thank You Bruce

    I used to have a mx300, so feel for you. I bought a new sound card (Philips Acoustic Edge) a year or 2 ago. You should just buy a new sound card. you can get a SB Live cheap on newegg.

    Generic Aureal drivers work just fine for my MX300, search for drivers that way.

    yeah, i had both an mx300 and mx400 and even back when there were specific drivers, i still used the aureal cuz they were supposedly better, or so i heard . . .

    Aureal went under long ago so there wont be any official driver updates. I had to replace several Diamond product due to lack of driver support. You'll have to replace it one day eventually...
