XP Rocks! --- also~"Red Alert 2 XP fix"

Hello everybody, just to let you know I have figured out how to run Red Alert 2 on my XP! This is how, but wait. My problem was it crashed to desktop all the time when starting up the game, fixed by finding "Q327979" fix from microsofts website, found by accident, would have never found if I were searching for it. WORKS ON XP ONLY IS THE DOWNFALL. No 2000 support, DANG! Well anyway, now both my computers will house xp, the newer one with 2K as well. Thanks for anyhelp from my os software problems in the past you guys, You won't be seeing that again soon, I hope, and believe. No more (Thank God) M.E.:)

And by the way, I also found out how to get Red alert to work (run compatability mode for the game, then install aftermath expansion without compatability mode) which just adds to the touch. If you don't have aftermath, they still sell it at places such as Software Etc., Electronics Boutique, Wal*Mart, and more for 9.99. Of course I will never play this game, it is only nice to know I "CAN", and... I got a fix for CnC, located at westwoods "disliked" site which is supposed to work, and allows me to sort of start it, but with an error half way loading the main menu. No biggie, never play that again either, although that is how I started liking the game to begin with.

P.S. sorry I couldn't get the Red Alert 2 fix file, it was a wee bit over the 512000 bye limit, even zipped and compressed.
