Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for Forum Descriptions to add to the forums that don't have any (or changes to the ones that do).

    Guess part of the problem is do they all need them? Many are self-explanatory...

    Here's what I could come up with:


    General Hardware "Computer related hardware not covered in other topics" (may want to place this more at the bottom so people read the other sections first, then post here)

    Motherboards

    Bios Help & Modding "Motherboard bios specific inquiries and issues"

    Overclocking

    Cooling

    Hard Disks & Misc Storage

    Cases, Power Supplies & PC Mods

    Networking

    Video Cards

    BenchMarking

    General Software

    Microsoft

    It seems that RAM questions wind up in several places.
    I have had to move around to find out info on RAM issues myself.

    In fact "HOT THREADS" has RAM questions in two different Forums.
    thats my two cents.:)

    Good point Zuntar, guess in our surrent incarnation they qualify as motherboard, gen hardware, and overclocking... and I guess, depending on the question, they could qualify in each...

    Cirixmeta came up with a 3Dmarks team idea. I also added to bring it to Aranyic and Coaster for approval. Hopefully we can get a forum up on it. I thought it was a good idea to get some juices flowing with a 3Dmarks team and some friendly competition amoung members. THis will also include:

    Video card drivers
    Tweaks
    Optimizers

    And of course the sharing of "tweaking secrets" ;)

    the video cards section should be divided into 2
    ati & nvidia that way ppl wont get confused with them for eg xt in ati camp means the ultimate....xt in nvidia camp means the slowest
