Went and done it

Well today i went ahead and swapped out cases. i was getting a little anoyed with the howling of the cube's fan. I hacked up the full tower, added my H20 setup, a little mod here, a little there and put it all together without painting it. It's not purdy, cuz it's still needs some cosmetics, but i'm happy it's silent. Oh, got my 172mm Comair Rotron fan today also which you'll see mounted ontop of the Psu.

Here's The Cyclops:

Gonna try and find an Emerald Green paint and something for the grill to cover the rad. As you can see i have the filter covering it. Had to do some serious hacking to get the fan to fit and the Psu as well ;)

    Thanx guyz :D

Hey versello, when i took it out the box (stoopid was here btw) and i saw the size of it, i was like WoW ! Stoopid said: " Dam that's a big fan" lol Really silent tho since i'm running only 115v AC instead of the 230v. @ 230v AC it's pushes something like 235CFMs, now it's purring along at about 120cfms and it's really silent :)

Citrix, getting the same temps, just not with all the howling of my larger fan and evrything is in one case. I'me really enjoying it :D

Found it on ebay for $5 but it now plus $6 shipping. Received it the same week.

Waiting for nebulous to post pics, we went to home depot earlier and got the paint and clear-coat needed to finish the job...

Well finally fished it up. Nothing fancy, kept it simple.

4 coats of silver metallic by Rustoleum
    2 Coats of Clear acrylic
    and the rad grill mod.

Dam nice job. I have always avoided painting myself as I didnt think i would get a good finish, looks like awesome paint jobs are possible by hand. congrats.

Rustoleum is awsome paint. The clear acrylic leaves a real nice finish.
