system 32

hello, my system 32 file opens up on startup, and at random times during my time on the computer.

i'm a n00b when it comes to computers, so i don't know what to do.

any help will be appreciated.

    You know, I've had that same problem with a client's laptop I was working on. It had a few viruses and loads of spyware which I thoroughly cleaned out, but after that the System32 kept on popping up on restart which I could never figure out...

    I DLd an MP3 ripper from ZDnet - forgot to scroll to the bottom, see that it is loaded with spyware.

    My firewall started freaking out during install, AND system32 folder opened by itself. (WinXP Pro).

    Adaware cleaned it out. No system32 popping up so far.
