Wireless...Umm... Thingie, One Exist?

I win the prize for the vaguest forum thread title ever? I think so... Anyway...

I have a wireless network, as its great, I have even cut up my CAT5 cable as a symbolisation of how I will never be 'tied down' again by wires (Only to find out that I needed one shortly after to connect to my not so enlightened wired friend...).
As im in my final year of a degree I find myself in my room all the time sat on my bed with the laptop typing up some crap or another blissfully wire free and online..... EXCEPT for the phono to 3.5mm jack that hooks my MP3 collection up to my laptop :( . Does a 'thingie' exist that is WIFI certified and is basically a box with a wireless card in it, and phono connections on it to plug into an amp? This would be cool, as it would remove the last wire in my life. Or even better is there such a device that also has composite or scart out, providing a wireless TV out connection? Am I just dreaming? If one doesn’t exist, SOMEONE MAKE ONE, I will buy one, which is one guaranteed sale!

Cheers Guys

Andy.

I'm in the same boat. Afraid I couldn't find anything, so I have a decent pair of headphones I use with the onboard audio.

I think you are out of luck. Some where in the mix you'll need some sort of transmiter that'll plug into your laptop and require power. There are such things as wireless speakers but they do require a wired amplifier...
