XP 64 question

edited February 2004 in Science & Tech
Hey, here's a question. I'm building a system for a friend with some big bucks and i wanted to dabble in AMD's 64 bit processing. Here's my question, can I use a regular retail copy of windows xp with it or do I need to buy the Windows XP 64-bit? and, if I need the 64-bit version, where can I buy a copy of it?

The normal version will work because the CPU has 32bit support as well. Its basically a hybrid. The 64bit version of XP hasnt been released yet.

Microsoft are delaying it till Intel have a 64bit CPU. Least thats my conspiracy theory :P
