FDISK help...

edited February 2004 in Hardware
In an effort to wipe the slate clean and start over, I have begun to delete partitions from my HD. What's left is an Extended DOS partition (no logicial drives detected when asked to display). The extended DOS partition will not delete as it says I have logical drives even though it doesn't display any.

Anybody know what's up, or if there's logicals that I (and FDISK) can't see

If it's any help, I was running a RAID 0 with a pair of 40GB maxtors on a KG7 333R with the on-board RAID controller

please, please help

    ok, solved it myself...

if anybody is running into the same thing, or just interested, there's a nice little DOS utility called DELPART.exe which allows you to delete what I'm assuming was an NTFS logical drive within the Extended Partition...
