I just got a 9800 pro to replace my 4200ti on a kt 133 MB with T'bird 1.4G, I keep having problem to have it work, I think is the power, but I have a 430 true power. That's should not be a problem, right?

I try to boot up with (1) harddisk and (1) DVD rom, still does not work. I did plug in the power to the video card, without connecting any other item, but still not work, please help.

Thanks in advance :)

What do you mean it doesn't work? Nothing on the screen, errors?

I don't think that board can handle the 8x card. Have you tried the card in another machine?

    What mobo do you have?

Ok, if you tried it on your friend's mobo, what psu does he have and what psu do you have? i have a gut feeling it could be either one, psu or your mobo.

There's no explanations why a piece of hardware won't work with it's mate. It's incompatible. Some pieces of hardware work like they were made for eachother, others don't.
