help with my first build?

:confused: Ok here we go my first build asus a7n8x deluxe rev 2.0 mobo,corsair 2x 512 xms pc3200 ram, seagate 80 gig sata hd ,lite on optical drives, nividia 5600 video card ,amd +3200 cpu ,on board sound shouldnt be to hard to put together but when i power up and hit the del key like the manual says to enter bios it does nothing double checked my connectors ,cables ,and power supply everthing looks good any sudjestions on what to do next? all i get is blank screen :confused:

    i would start by the bare minimum
    unplugg everything, leave only videocard, 1 stick of mem, cpu.

    boot up see if it does the same thing.

    ps: also, it wouldnt hurt to double check the heatsink, make sure its installed right, and making proper contact to the core. i know asus has an Overheat protection, maybe its kicking in..

    Ok well I've tried several things that i new but being a newbie I've decided to take it to a friend to check it out for me so hopefully I'll find out what i did wrong in a day or so.

    sometimes its the easiest solution, i'd definately try clearing the cmos, and then going from there. There should be a diagram in your motherboard manual to show you how to do so. If that doesnt work, take out all your pci cards, and leave in your agp, hdd, and floppy and work your way up 1 by 1 from there.
