Recording of a video stream

Is there anybody that could recommend a program via which one can record video stream?
Let us say one is watching a clip (on real player or win media player) and want to record it. I have heard about a program "camstudio" v. 2.1 but it seams it is not available anymore.

    you can use a proggy called SNagit, i think it will do the job.
