Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2 problem

hi,
i am using Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2. When i run check for problems my OS crashes! Its a blue screen which says
"STOP.........
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ...

Address 80446BD9 base at 80400000, Datestamp 3eebc002 - ntoskrnl.exe "

any idea?

    sounds like something wrong with the install. I'd uninstall it and try installing it again.

    if you haven't already yet, try updating S&D with the intregrated update or go to the website and d/l the update files and install them.

    go to www.memtest.org

    download the CD or floppy image file, follow the instructions on how to make a boot disk.

    Boot off that CD or Floppy.

    Check your memory. Chances are, your memory is bad.
