question on ti4200 128mb 8x agp

edited March 2004 in Hardware
hi. i have a pointofview ti4200 128mb 8x agp. my card is running on 250/500 (stock speed). it has a rather big cooler and the ram are also cooled. i have overclocked it up to 280/560 with no problems, it don`t want to burn the card and i want to know until where i can safely overclock.also the card is 8x but i am using it on 4x. does it make difference in the performance???

8x is a joke. not a big del really. I actually get more 3dmarks in 4x than i do in 8x with my fx5900
