I'm looking for a program that will allow me to make a DVD from a DIVX/XVID movie file. I have tried playing around with the one in Ulead Video studio 7, but it takes forever to do anything... I was wondering if their was an easy alternative where i just select what files i want on the DVD, and then it does all the work for me (i am a beginner at this...). if anybody know any please let me know.

I've tried several times over the past 2 years to get divx to work... failure every time. So I bought a dvd recorder. life is good :).

It's a long and tedious process. Follow dvdrhelp's tutorials, and good luck.

I have, time and time and time again. It's rather frustrating, because this has been the ONLY thing PC related I haven't been able to 'get'. I just stopped caring once I had a DVD burner, it isn't worth the time when I can backup a full DVD (higher quality, with menus and chapter selection) in 3 hours.
