Yea get a different or a second radiator - on my lil' polish forum (http://forum.tweak.pl) people PWNed the Swiftech radiator from this kit :p
Get some really good one - dunno which really as I haven't seen any tests/reviews. My friend will soon replace his old car heater core for a Black Ice Pro or Pro 2. Then I can draw some conclusions when he has results.

Citrix, ditch that pump and radiator. Go for that block without the inserts and use the 3/8-1/2 adapters instead and use a Procore or heatercore with 1/2 inch size. One radiator is well enough for that cpu. I would recommend Eheim pumps.

    BTW, Hi folks.

ya i just noticed the pump is weak, its like 185gph.
ah well, im gonna have to try this out and see what happens, might upgrade later on if needed.

    HOLA mackanz!!

i've always wanted to get a rad from a car and use that to see if it makes a big difference or not. then you like stick the rad on the side of the computer to make it look like it's just a normal part of the case. actually, now that I thnk about it, I should invent a giant rad case :o

the cooling kit is tested and installed.

    here are the results.

Before (aircooled): 32c idle 44c full load OCed@2.4ghz
After (Watercooled): 28c idle 32c full load OCed@2.4ghz

im still testing, but so far so good. (this is all off 1 rad btw)

Sweet! And a sweet signature too! Whats that in the upper right corner where the tubes lead to, do they lead to some kind of fill & bleed contraption?

What tubing did ya use? Clearflex or Tygon or ?
  • citrixmetacitrixmeta Montreal, Quebec Icrontian

yes, the kit came with a fill/bleed system by swiftech.

as for tubing, i think it was generic tubing 1/2OD

Im new here just found this site on google..But just had to post this comment :
Hmm I dont believe that is good advice..In watercooling pressure is much more important than volume, and soo that you know the Swiftech has a higher head 2.3m while the Ehiem 1250 has a max head IIRC of 1.8.. Just because it has a Higher Litre Per Hour Rating doesnt mean anything and In testing after a certain amount of flow there are no preformace gain in the waterblock.. Usually a flow rate of 5Litres Pre Minute is enough any lower aint good..
I suggest reading Procooling,Overclockers.com forums more more info ..

Hey guys, i was thinking about getting a ThermalTake Aquarius II liquid cooling system.. i was wondering if you had seen any results or have any input on it.
i've seen one review and it was built on a p4 3.06ghz.
    But i am running an A64 3000+ w/ Asus K8V board.
any input would be awesome... thanks.

    hey!! welcome to the forums,

i wouldnt touch those kits, it will perform equal if not less than the top knotch thermalright heatsinks :(

tell us what you wanna do, maybe we can recommend parts for you.

Well...after i got the 1gb of PC3200 and the Nvidia 6800 i was planning on OC'ing the a64, but i don't know what kind of water cooling system i want to use...also another reason is. I actually build computers for people. and every computer that i have that i build, i sort of show off. to show them i'm not incompetent haha.

But....I really wanna tweak the crap outta this thing. I have seen the resonator and a few other types of liquid cooling systems..but i dont know which one runs the best, or the coolest...cause this thing runs purdy damn hot. 46.5* at idle.

Haven't heard anything on that one. any input?
