a7n8x

edited March 2004 in Hardware
i am torn between buying an a7n8x-e deluxe and the a7n8x deluxe. i am not sure what all the differences are, but i am leaning towards the a7n8x deluxe and not the "E" version due to the fact that it is quite new and hasn't really had a chance to mature and have its bugs fixed. the non-"E" version has been out a long time and won many awards and there is already a Rev.2 of the board.

what do y'all recommend?

thnx!

If it's a new AMD board you want, I'd go for the Abit AN7 or the Epox 8RDA3+. I'm not keen on the Asus boards for AMD.

For default speeds the asus performs much better and I have benches to prove it. I have both mobos. The Abit nf7s 2.0 overclocks much much higher. So if you plan on overclocking abit if not asus a7n8x dl. Both the boards you mensioned are the same just I think you get less addons with the E version. Can't remeber what though.
