Windows User Accounts Question (Guest Account and Security, etc.)
Hey I used to only have my own Administrator User ID for WinXP Pro but I turned on Guest Access so I could let people use my computer without them being able to mess up my PC or snoop into my personal files. Anyway, everything seems to be working fine now except a couple of things...
1) how can i easily make all of my AOL AIM settings the same as on my Admin account instead of having to redo all of the settings (same with other programs as well)
2) Some programs that I have installed and use on my normal account I want to be able to let them use on the Guest Account. This includes DVDProfiler and AIM. When I tried to open them I had to enter the serial numbers again but when I enter the serial number for De-adAIM (a program for AIM) it says I don't have admin access (obviously) so how can I configure the program? In DVDProfiler if I go into the settings menu to change how I view the program, it doesnt let me push "ok" to save changes to the preferences.
3) In the Guest Account, anyone can delete/add/change the start menu and it effects the admin and all other user's start menus which sucks. How can I prevent this or add more security from them changing preferences and stuff?
What gives?
