Random Beeping for Radeon 9800 pro

So i finally got the a new card.

the card works great and everything, but i have 2 problems.

1. the computer randomly beeps... and its not consistant, its a series of short beeps, and its never the same number of beeps.

2. how can you tell if its made by ATI?

    did u plug in the 4 pins molex power to the videocard?
    could be ur power supply.

    it beeps when you're booted into windows? does the card work for games? or does it only beep when you initially turn it on.

    citrix, on my 9500 pro, if you don't plug in the power, it will print a message on the screen telling you to turn the pc off and plug it in.

    the power is plugged in, the power is a generic 400w. its probably my psu. i have allot of stuff plugged into it.

    it works fine playing games, but when i play them it beeps sometimes.

    and it never beeped before you had this vid card? if so, i'd try plugging it in another computer to see if you get beeps. don't be so quick to judge the PSU. i ran my computer on a 250 watt generic psu for years and it never gave me problems.

    Power supply was my first thought as well, and only took me reading the title ;)
