IC7-Max3 & BA7500G Speakers (HELP)
Hi Guys,
I have a new IC7-Max3 mobo with WinXP & ran into a little problem. My Boston Acoustic Digital Speaker System no longer works.
I'm not using a sound card, just the built-in AC97 6.1 sound chip. The mobo has 5 audio outputs but none of them will allow the BA7500G speakers to work.
Anyone else have this problem or a solution. I figure it's a WinXP sound setting but can't seem to find anything that makes a difference. The worked fine before but not with the Max3. I put a cheap pair of speakers on the Max3 & they work great but not my $300 set.

I hope I am not just stating the obvious. I have the same set of speakers and they will accept a "digital" only input and are pretty particular about this. I believe the AC97 6.1 sound chip doesn't have thte output you need.
