edited September 2004 in Hardware
Ok, i just bought this card, it's a 128mb card and it works fine, until i try and use Direct3d that is... i've looked around at the settings and i'm confused, the hardware acceleration is off and i can't get it on. Anybody know how to turn the acceleration on? Thanks.

OK first you must uninstall the cards drivers. then you must do this in the same exact order that i tell you

1st REInstall service pack 1 second
    2nd Reinstall your DX 9
3rd RE install you modo chipset drivers ( VIA chipeset redo the 4in 1's
    4th reinstall you vid card

if that doesnt work you must reformat and and install xp then follow that order

what OS are u running? and SP level?

windows 2003 lowers hardware accel. by default.

    go to display properties/settings/ advanced

click on troubleshoot tab, drag the slider all the way to the right, press ok and reboot

    when u reboot, click start/RUN

    type DXDIAG , press ok

click on DISPLAy TAB and make sure all 3 directx Features are ENABLED, if not click on the button and enable them

hmm me thinks you will not get a lot of help here with that attitude.
I think its worth remembering that this is a forum where ppl devote their spare time to helping others. I therefor find your post very rude and your claim totally unfound, an appology is called for.
If you want help then ask kindly and take care to explain your problem properly first.
Maybe, but not certainly, we will then find a solution to your problem.
