water cooled psu, is this possible or foreseen in the future?

Is there anyway to silence a psu? I know a few fanless ones might come out, but don't really know about them. Anyway, they are all gonna generate heat no matter what, so... is there anyway to water cool 'em, or is this really crossing the line in the old theory, "Water and electronics don't mix." Maybe a bracket from a cpu or somthing can be modded into the psu?

There are several watercooled psu's in the market already actually, but none of them are powerful enough for a high end system. They are dang expensive as well. Prepare to shell out $200+ for a POS psu that is fanless. I have seen an article where a guy took a powerful psu and watercoled it though. Nice job, but took forever.

There's a whole bunch of websites about watercooling PSU's and this is one of them:

The site also has other very interesting watercooling projects - I hope it helps a bit.

Intriging... Too bad I don't think I have the right tools or easy access to them to take on a project on my own. I would really want a store bought version or have someone make one for me.

There's lots of store bought versions too, just gotta search for them. You can buy whole watercooled PSU's or just special blocks to insert into them - except if you buy just the block you have to worry about attaching all these live voltage parts and isolating them and so on.
