Hey bios-master :)

Are you into wpcredit stuff as well? Is there any chance to find a setting in wpcredit that exist in the bios?

Cheers!

There is always a chance of finding it in the bios, Problem is sometimes they are disguised and not so easy to find. What exactly are you looking for?

I'm looking for a setting called CPC in the DFI Lanparty rev B. It's there for dual 512 (4 banks filled, 2 slots) so that they also can use hogh fsb, but with a performance cut.
I'd like to test this from windows instead. Anything you could look into?

    Cheers!

Is there a long name for CPC? If I am following you correctly it is available in the bios when you have 2 slots with memory in them. Is that correct? Also what setup screen does this appear when it is available?

I have a .bin here if you want to have a look. The CPC is in the advanced chipset features of the bios.
Are you still in Norway? Or was that your friend?
Just rename the file to .bin

    Cheers!

I am assuming that CPC= Command Per Clock
Any idea what exactly this feature does?

You are thinking of Binary when you refer to Norway, I am just a Mod at his site.

Yes, it' command per clock. I thought i wrote that before. Hmm.

Anyway, it hhelps 512 modules to get higher fsb but at a cost of bendwidth. That's the result of it anyway.

Sorry I haven't posted back sooner but I am in the middle of several home projects and don't have much time anymore.

I did check a little into your request and the amount of code chasing that needs to be done to find the switch that recognizes the memory size is more involved then the time I have available.

If I get some free time I will try and give it a go.
